Meet the doctor

Dr. Seki was born and raised in the lush landscapes of Portland, Oregon. As a second-generation Japanese-American, or “Nisei” she developed a profound understanding of the importance of cultural identity and inclusivity throughout her life. Fluent in both Japanese and English, she seamlessly navigates between these two languages and cultures.

Inspired by her Japanese cultural heritage and a desire to promote holistic wellness, Dr. Seki decided to pursue a career in naturopathic medicine. She completed her undergraduate pre-med studies at the University of Oregon and graduated with her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from the National University of Natural Medicine in 2022.

Her post-graduate training at FoRM Health in Portland focused on regenerative medicine and aesthetic medicine. In addition to these two fields, she offers primary care services and has a keen interest in integrative dermatology, mental health, longevity medicine, IV therapy, Platelet-rich plasma treatment (PRP) for aesthetics and hair loss, endocrine disorders, digestive health, nutritional counseling, herbal medicine, and general preventative medicine. She finds fulfillment in connecting with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Her husband is an osteopathic physician in his residency program in Hilo, and she re-located to the Big Island to join him.

Guided by the principles of traditional healing practices and integrative medicine, Dr. Seki is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to her patients.

In her personal life, she is a dog mom to two precious dogs named Haku and Shiro and enjoys photography and paddle boarding on the weekends with her husband.
